Costume designer and stylist Kate Forbes is responsible for the looks of the acclaimed The Brutalist, the latest work by Brady Corbet.
She will be in conversation with us to talk about her work and her modern take on this film set in the late 1940s and 50s.

Written by Brady Corbet and Mona Fastvold, The Brutalist follows the journey of Hungarian-born Jewish architect, László Tóth, who emigrates with his wife to the United States of America in 1947. A visionary, he is initially forced to toil in poverty, but he soon wins a contract with a mysterious, wealthy client that will change the course of the next 30 years of his life.
The film won Corbet the Silver Lion for Best Direction at the Venice Film Festival last year and Golden Globes this year for Best Motion Picture and Best Actor.
